Watching Phil Mickelson double-bogey to his sixth runner-up U.S. Open finish on Sunday was painful, but I couldn’t help laughing at the USGA’s genius new ad campaign, “While We’re Young.”

Taking the famous phrase coined by Rodney Dangerfield’s “colorful” character in every guy I’ve ever dated’s favorite movie “Caddyshack,” famous faces like Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, and Annika Sorenstam try to fix what makes golf so boring (yes, I said it) to watch, and frustrating to play: it’s so slooooow. The USGA hopes current players will pledge to lighten up, and new players will tee up.

The ads are all great, but my favorite is when a certain bad-ass actor is having a bad day on the links. Watch them all here.
